Lubantuun “ Place of the fallen Stones” This Late Classic ceremonial center is noted for its unusual style of construction distinctive of southern Belize. Xunantunich “ Maiden of the Rock” It can be reached by ferry. Xunantunich is a Classic Period ceremonial center. Cahal Pech “ Place of Ticks”,it refers to the fact that the surrounding area was once used as pasture land.

CHOCOLATE TOUR

You will walk through the traditional chocolate making process – from harvest and fermentation to drying and roasting, to deshalling and grinding. You can go back in time to discover how this ancient culture tended cacao trees and produced chocolate. English-speaking members of a friendly revered Maya family will be your host. They have been growing and making chocolate in the rainforest of Belize just like their ancestors many hundreds of years ago.

SPICE FARM TOUR

The Belize Spice Farm & Botanical Gardens, located at the foothills of the Maya Mountain in beautiful Belize. It is known for its world famous spices, such as Tellicherry Black Pepper, cardamom, cloves, cinnamon and nutmeg. The farm is one of the largest black pepper and vanilla farms in the country and is adorned with beautiful teak, mahogany, rosewood, and sandalwood trees, as well as a variety of other magnificent specimens.
